New ingredient you should try in your home cooked meals
  1. Put hot sauce on your eggs in the morning to add some spice and flavor

When you have a long day ahead of you, it's important to get your shake on early. There are many easy ways to do this: drinking a cup of coffee or tea is always an option, but some people go for the classic caffeinated beverages like Red Bull and Monster. But if those don't sound appetizing (fight me), there's always the delicious morning-afternoon snack options like bacon (mmm) and eggs with hot sauce. I personally am all about that spicy breakfast because when I'm feeling lazy in the morning, my only hope is that something will shake up my taste buds so I can actually enjoy eating something over water again. Hot sauce does just that!

  1. Add a few drops of hot sauce to your dish when you cook it for a little kick

In order to make your dish even more delicious, add a few drops of hot sauce. It will add the perfect amount of heat and flavor. There are so many different varieties and flavors and heat levels! Try tropical, or smoky, or salty, mild, medium, hot.

  1. Mix some hot sauce into your favorite marinade recipe for an extra punch of flavor

Marinades are one of the best ways to make a simple protein dish taste like you spent hours prepping it. There’s something about them that just screams, “fresh and delicious!” Let me show you how easy it is to whip up your own marinade recipe with hot sauce. It doesn't get much easier than this! Here's what you'll need: A bottle of soy sauce, two tablespoonfuls of honey mustard (or more if desired), and one or two tablespoons of hot sauce. I love adding sometimes two hot sauces to my mix for extra spice but feel free to adjust the levels as needed. After all, we want our food spicy but not too spicy! If you're still in doubt about using a marinade on your chicken or steak then I've got an even better idea - add raw vegetables to the marinade.

  1. Use hot sauce as a dipping sauce with chips or vegetables

Did you ever think about using hot sauce as a dipping sauce for chips and vegetables? It sounds like an odd combination but it’s really good together. The best way to eat them is by putting some of the hot sauce on a chip, adding your favorite vegetable (or whatever type of vegetable you want), and then taking a bite out of both at once. It is kind of messy, but worth it in the end because they taste so good together!

  1. Put some hot sauce on top of your pizza when you're cooking it

What if I were to tell you I would put some hot sauce on top of my pizza when it's cooking. A little goes a long way and can really enhance the flavor!

  1. Use hot sauce as a dip for french fries or chips

I love to dip my fries in hot sauce, which is spicy and adds a kick. The best thing about it is that I can add as much or as little of the sauce as I want. Most people only put a few drops on their food, but I like to dunk fries into the whole container!

  1. Mix hot sauce with mayonnaise and use as a sandwich spread

I'll admit it, I'm a total condiment-junkie. I love all the different flavors and textures that can be achieved by having more than one sauce on my sandwich! The spiciness of hot sauce combined with the coolness of mayonnaise is amazing. Throw them together and you have a spicy spread that's perfect for your summer sandwiches. If you're not into heat, then use less and try adding sour cream or something sweet like honey to make your combo because there are so many options out there!
